Rossie Byre Weddings
Rossie Byre is located at the heart of a 250 acre family farm with magical views of the stunning Perthshire countryside. Our recently converted byre offers an enchanting blank canvas for those wishing to add their own style to their wedding day. The flexible space consists of four connected rooms with space for up to for 160 seated guests. With a seamless transition into each room, packed with traditional features including original stone walls, troughs and raised walkways, our venue can be configured and decorated exactly as you wish for your ceremony, reception, speeches, dining plus evening entertainment. Lots to consider and ample space to play with!
Stylish, Elegant & Informal
The byre’s flexible design allows us to accommodate smaller intimate weddings whilst still being able to retain the venue’s rustic authenticity. With ample space to entertain outside why not use our landscaped courtyards for your reception drinks and canapés with the romantic Ochil Hills as a backdrop. As the evening draws in head back inside to the warmth of the log burning stove to enjoy some dancing and drinks at the fully stocked Rossie Bar!
Food
Our spacious catering kitchen is easily accessible to all parts of the venue including the outdoor courtyard areas. We have a wonderfully varied range of preferred suppliers that know our venue well that we will recommend but it is then up to you who you select from this list to be your caterer on your special day. From hog roasts to street food to formal three course dinners – Rossie Byre is your oyster!
Drink
Everyone has their own preferred tipples so you can supply your own wine and fizz for your reception drinks and supper. A small corkage fee will apply per head for the use of glassware, storage, chilling and serving of the drinks by our friendly and enthusiastic bar team Pickled Haggis! After supper our fully stocked bar will open in the byre, with Pickled Haggis taking care of your evening celebrations.

Rossie Garden Weddings
Within 10 minutes’ walk of Rossie byre is our stunning 30 acre garden that offers a variety of beautiful spots for your ceremony, drinks reception and photographs. Whether it’s in our secluded sunken garden, by the pond or on the main lawn, you will be spoilt for choice with stunning photo opportunities across the garden to add to your memorable day.
Church
We are very fortunate to have the charming Forgandenny Parish Church less than five minutes walk away. How about a traditional Church wedding after which you and your guests go through a secret gate, stroll down the woodland path and arrive in the main garden for your reception drinks.
